What is a tenant?
Tenant contains a list of projects for a specific customers. Billing and page generation quota is being done on this level.
A tenant can be administrated by a user with tenant admin privileges.
The tenant admin can invite new users (they get automatically assigned to the group the tenant belongs to), create projects and assign users to the tenants.
A tenant administrator automatically has administrative privileges in projects assigned to that tenant.
Creating a new tenant
Using the + TENANT button in the top left opens a wizard interface to create a new tenant and assign a user as tenant administrator.
In the first step you need to define a tenant name and assign it to your group. Pressing the CREATE TENANT button will perform the creation of the tenant.
The second step will allow you to assign a user from the group as tenant administrator, optionally.
You can administrate all tenants from your group administrator as well. The assignment of a tenant administrator is only needed if that person is not a group administrator.
Manage tenant admins
The tenants page shows a list of all tenants available to the group administrator.
Using the edit button in the list next to a tenant opens a dialog in which you can change the tenant admin assignments.
